the New Braked Wheel
Dear Rescuers,
We are thrilled to introduce our latest innovation: the braked wheel for the Franco Garda stretcher.
The braked wheel for the Franco Garda stretcher, now
equipped with a 160 mm hydraulic disc brake system easily attaches to the
carrier bars and effectively reduces the
rescuers’ efforts. Composed of a low-
pressure wheel with a disc brake, an
aluminum tubular frame, and a quick-
release stretcher attachment system,
it lessens the rescuers’ exertion during
descents.
The low-pressure tire of this wheel facilitates transport over
rough terrain and ensures greater comfort for the injured
person. The wheel attachment system to the stretcher can be
implemented with the injured person already in the stretcher,
ensuring secure and efficient transport. The brake at the end of
the carrying handle is easily activated and provides better
